Warranty Limitations

  • Damage and Handling Issues:

    1. Transportation and Handling Damage:

      • Scratches, dents, chips, and other cosmetic damage caused during transportation or handling.
      • Exceptions: Damage due to defects in materials or workmanship, reported within 48 hours of purchase.
    2. External Accessories and Configurations:

      • Repairs or replacements for external accessories.
      • Installation, configuration of drivers, network/hardware optimizations, BIOS updates, system/data recovery, cabling, or connections.

    Improper Usage or Modifications:

    1. Unauthorized Parts or Software:

      • Issues caused by the use of non-recommended parts, peripherals, or software.
      • Failures unrelated to product specifications.
    2. Unauthorized Repairs or Alterations:

      • Warranty is void if repairs are done by unauthorized dealers or individuals.
      • Use of unapproved or incompatible parts during repair.
    3. Misuse, Abuse, or Negligence:

      • Damage due to misuse, abuse, or neglect, including but not limited to:
        • Use of spurious/fake accessories.
        • Scratches on screens, forceful USB attachment causing damage to pins.
        • Liquid spillage or the use of non-recommended cleaners.
        • Exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions.
    4. Environmental or External Factors:

      • Damage caused by fire, floods, power surges, voltage dips, thunderstorms, acts of God, or natural disasters.
      • Damage from insects, vermin, or foreign objects entering the product.

    Product-Specific Issues:

    1. Display, Open-Box, and Refurbished Products:

      • Damage or missing items in display, open-box, discounted, or refurbished products.
    2. Data and Compatibility:

      • Loss or corruption of program data on removable storage media.
      • Compatibility or connectivity issues with other hardware/software.
    3. Power Supply and Installation Failures:

      • Damage caused by insufficient power supply voltage.
      • Improper installation or lack of necessary maintenance.

    Warranty Void Scenarios:

    1. Documentation and Warranty Card:

      • Warranty card not properly completed at the time of purchase.
    2. Freight and Incidental Costs:

      • Freight charges for warranty claims.
      • Incidental or consequential damages caused by defects in the product.
    3. Unauthorized Modifications:

      • Failures caused by unauthorized modifications to the product.
